Return and Refund Policy – Camilla Holm Studio

At Camilla Holm Studio, we want you to feel completely secure with your purchase. Below you will find the terms and conditions that apply to returns and cancellations.

1. Right of Withdrawal (Cancellation Right)

When shopping with us, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal starting from the day you (or a third party designated by you) receive your order. This applies to all products in the webshop, including art prints, linocut prints, designs, and original artworks.

To exercise this right, the item must be returned in its original, undamaged condition and in its original packaging. The buyer bears all direct costs associated with the return shipping as well as the responsibility/risk for the item during transport.

2. Special Requirements for Returning Original Artworks

Because original artworks are unique, irreplaceable, and fragile, specific conditions apply to their return:

  • Specialized Art Courier: Original artworks must not be sent using standard parcel services (e.g., GLS, PostNord, DHL Standard). They must be returned via a specialized art delivery service (art courier) with full insurance covering the complete value of the artwork during transit.

  • Buyer's Responsibility (Risk): As the buyer, you bear the risk for the artwork until it is safely received and approved at our address. If the artwork is damaged or lost during return transport, the right to a refund is forfeited, and you must claim compensation directly from your chosen transport company.

3. How to Cancel or Return an Order

If you wish to cancel your purchase or register a return, please use our return portal: https://account.camillaholm.com/orders

Once we have received and approved the returned item, we will refund the amount using the same payment method that was used for the purchase. The refund will be processed no later than 14 days after we receive the item back, or after you provide documentation showing that the item has been returned.

4. Unclaimed Parcels

If you do not pick up your parcel at the parcel shop or refuse delivery, the parcel will be returned to us as unclaimed. Failing to collect a parcel or refusing delivery does not constitute a valid exercise of your right of withdrawal.

Once an unclaimed parcel has been returned to us, we will refund the price of the item minus the actual shipping costs – meaning both the original shipping fee and the cost of the return shipping to us. If you wish to have the parcel shipped again instead, this can be done upon payment of a new shipping fee. Until the parcel has been returned to us, you as the buyer bear the risk for the shipment.

5. Claims – Damaged Items Upon Receipt

If you receive an item that has been damaged during transit to you, we will of course cover it. The damage must be reported as soon as possible and no later than 2 days after receipt, as we otherwise cannot file a claim against the shipping company.

Please send an email to contact@camillaholm.com containing:

  • Order number

  • Pictures of the damage (both of the product itself and of the packaging, where the shipping label is clearly visible)

  • A brief description of the defect

Once we have assessed the documentation, we will offer either a replacement delivery (where possible) or a full refund. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
