About the art

I love observing people – especially when I catch the little, quirky moments that make us smile. It can be anything from a posture to a special facial expression – always rawly honest and full of personality. It is precisely these little glimpses of humanity that I try to capture in my art.

In my studio in Aarhus, I play with colors, brushes – and anything else that can be used – to create works that burst with joy of life, presence and character. I deliberately give space to the biases, because they are precisely what makes it all interesting and alive.

My hope is that my paintings can become little cracks of good humor in everyday life – art that makes you smile and gives your home an atmosphere you want to embrace again and again.

About us

Behind Camilla Holm are me and my boyfriend Lasse – an effortless but quite effective partner. Lasse is the strategic and structured business engineer, IT expert and number cruncher who makes sure everything is in order on our giant planner board (and keeps his patience high, even when I spill colors, brushes and ideas all over the place).

My name is Camilla, and I am a master at creating creative chaos – a trained furniture designer, but first and foremost a curly brain that is bursting with energy, colors, and quirky ideas.

Lasse keeps the cool overview, I add life to the colors – and that's how we make it all come together into a higher unity.
